34 transactions were concluded at the State Commodities and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

Businessmen from the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan bought aviation kerosene, petrol, liquefied gas and fuel oil produced at the Turkmenbashi oil refineries. The UK businessmen also bought once-run petrol produced at the Seydi oil refinery. The transactions in the foreign currency were also concluded for one-coloured and jacquard terry towels, construction materials, engineering products, cotton yarn, cotton fibre and raw fatty acids. The buyer countries: China, Russia, Switzerland and Azerbaijan. The transactions totalled over US$ 177 million.

Buyers from the UK, Turkey, the UAE, Iran, Afghanistan, Ukraine and Georgia concluded the transactions in deposit manats for refined sunflower-seed oil, cotton yarn, raw silk, saradja wool to the sum of over eleven million.

Turkmen businessmen bought wheat to the sum of over 820,000 manats.
