The share of the non-governmental sector of the economy grows in the GDP of the country. By the results of the past year, the share of the private sector in production and services over 55 % of GDP except the fuel-energy complex.
A positive dynamics is observed in the same period of the current year: for the first half of 2013 enterprises of the Union of industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan have realized industrial goods by 42, 6% more as compared with the same period of the past year. The volume of production of agriculture goods has grown over 127% and communal services by 74, 6 %.
The list of manufactured goods and offered services in the private sector does not yield to that of consumer goods and practically covers all kinds of economic activity. Entrepreneurs more and more gain new skill, experience and further plan their role in manufacture of construction goods, paper, carton, and cardboard goods in polygraph industry. It is also possible to include here the textile, chemical industries, as well as manufacture of furniture and enlargement of its forms in line with modern requirements. The production of confectionery goods, sausage and dairy goods of high quality also grows remarkably. New private industrial enterprises will be established to increase the volume of export of industrial goods.
With every passing year, local building companies gain rich experience. Many of them have already developed a large technical basis and they carry out not only realization of construction activities but also development of projects. The volume of construction activities realized by the enterprises of the country for 6 months of 2013has made up almost 1, 6 times.
At present, 1865 projects are realized and over 41 billion US dollars are invested in Turkmenistan. 13 billion US dollars of the total volume are used by local constructing companies.
