The opening of VII International Exhibition of telecommunication, telemetering, information technologies and broadcasting equipment “Turkmentel-2013” and International Scientific Conference “Turkmenistan and world information-and-telecommunication systems” was held in Ashgabat. It was organized by the Ministry of Communication and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. Impressive composition of guests and participants of the current Ashgabat International Forum represent the delegations from 28 world countries, which geography covers practically whole Eurasian continent as well as USA. Over 75 exhibitors – national subdivisions of communication and foreign producers expanded their stands.

Members of the government, officials of the ministries and departments, heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the country and foreign companies, representatives of the community and mass media took part in the solemn opening ceremony of the International forum “Turkmentel-2013”, being traditionally held in the capital’s exhibition complex.

In the afternoon, International Scientific Conference “Turkmenistan and world information-and-telecommunication systems” started its work in the conference hall of the Exhibition Center. The specialists and experts of the communication structures, scientists-designers, programmers, representatives of business circles participated in it.

International Exhibition and Conference continues its work till September 19.
