The exhibition of economic achievements of Turkmenistan closed at the largest exhibition centre of the Turkmen capital. Its spacious halls were occupied by the expositions and pavilions of over 90 participants – the subdivisions of the public sector, educational and cultural institutions and numerous companies and firms, including representatives of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
The expositions of the leading export oriented sectors of the economic bloc – the fuel and energy, textile and chemical industries – showcased the high pace of development and the effective implementation of international investment and national projects, the key areas of production modernization and diversification and growth of the research and technological potential. The transport and communications sector of the national economy presented a panorama of the real progress and achievements.
The construction sector represented by domestic construction companies and design organisations, buildings materials producers and equipment suppliers illustrated the great scale and scope of the completed and ongoing projects in the country. A colourful exposition of flowers and ornamental plants of various colours was presented by the ‘greenest’ pavilion – the exposition of the Ministry of Communal Economy.
The economic achievements of the country were showcased in the pavilions of other ministries and departments, state corporations and associations, banks, the Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange, velayat khyakimliks and private companies.
The exposition of the Academy of Sciences and the pavilions of the private companies that deliver legal, educational and consulting services were dedicated to the achievements in the humanitarian sphere, particularly in the spheres of education and science.
An integral component of the forum was numerous business meetings and talks between the representatives of Turkmen enterprises and organisations and entrepreneurs and their foreign partners. The enterprises of all forms of ownership had an opportunity to strengthen and identify new promising areas of fruitful cooperation and establish new business contacts.
