Production of the famous soft drink Pepsi has been given a start in Turkmenistan. It was adjusted on the eve of the 22nd anniversary of Independence Day at the factory of the private enterprise «Akdash Mive Ichgileri» in accordance with the agreement with the Corporation PepsiCo, which has licenced the Turkmen company to produce the soft drink and use logotypes and traded marks on the territory of our country. “Akdash Mive Ichgileri” private enterprise has displayed its new product at the recent exhibition of economic achievements of Turkmenistan.
The main and strict requirement of partnership is a full compliance of quality of the product with the set standards. PepsiCo attaches the main attention to the modern production level of the company –bottler, honest business, social responsibility, ecological safety, development of initiatives, assisting healthy lifestyle, including the programs promoting wholesome food, and physical activity as well as a number of other conditions.
The enterprise producing Pepsi, is located in newly-established Abadan etrap of the capital city. Today, it is in fact a new factory, which was built and commissioned in the early this year and is equipped with modern European technologies – machines with fully automated production lines of soft drinks. Spring water is delivered here from the widely known spring «Gotur Ata» at the piedmont of the Kopetdagh.
With the framework of the program for state assistance to entrepreneurship in 2008, «Аkdash Mive Ichgileri» was allotted a plot of 10 thousand square meters to build a plant for drinking water and soft drinks. A year later – in March 2009 it was commissioned into operation.
