A meeting with Chairman of the State Duma Committee for Industrial, Innovation Policy and Investment of Sverdlovsk Oblast of the Russian Federation Albert Abzalov and Vice President of the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry Aleksander Makarov took place at the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.

The sides exchanged views on the prospects for establishing direct business relations with the regions of the Russian Federation in the framework of dynamically developing Turkmen-Russian cooperation. The guests expressed their readiness to build up mutually beneficial cooperation involving the regions of Russia, its largest industrial and cultural centres. It was emphasized that the open door policy of the Turkmen state and the ongoing ambitious reforms aimed at economic diversification and establishment of new profitable industries and modern enterprises facilitated effective partnership in a wide range of areas.
