The solemn ceremony of closing the large-scale exhibition of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and the conference demonstrating that the Turkmen business plays an important role in production of the high-quality competitive products and establishment of the food abundance in the country took place at the Sergi Kosgi Exhibition Centre in Ashgabat.



The exhibition became a significant event in the business life of the country. The main areas of work of the Turkmen businessmen are the construction and production of construction materials, industry, energetics and electrical engineering, textile, carpet weaving, agriculture, tourism, printing, food and consumer goods, production and transport services.


The exhibition stands showcased the rapid growth of production of construction materials from the local raw materials in our country. Due to the efforts taken by private manufacturers, this industry has achieved high results in the production of import substitute products.



Within the framework of the conference, the forum participants exchanged their views on the prospects of development of the entrepreneurship. The business meetings taken place in the framework of the forum provided an opportunity for strengthening the existing relations and establishing new business contacts. The conference focused on a wide range of issues, including development of the business activity, creation of new and modernization of the existing production facilities as well as investment and market analysis.
