Super-modern flour enterprise in Turkmenabat was put into operation in September of the last year. Today, this enterprise accelerates production capacities, where it is used the leading technologies and up-to-date equipment from USA, Germany, Switzerland and Spain. According to the project, it is intended for manufacture of 80 thousand tons of high-quality products per year.
Herefrom, by cars and wagons the flour from Turkmenabat is transported to different parts of the country. Within the last two tens of years, the volume of grain cultivated and harvested in the province has been increased by 7 times and exceeded 350 thousand tons in the last year. In the current spring, the personnel of the largest flour-grinding complex in Lebap exported to Afghanistan over one thousand tons of top-quality products realized through State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat to private firms from neighboring countries.
