A series of trainings on energy audit of dwelling houses started in Dashoguz were continued in Mary. Seminars were organized within the framework of Project of UNDP/GEF (UN Development Program and Global Ecological Fund) “Improvement of energy efficiency in the sector of housing of Turkmenistan” with support of “Turkmengas” State Concern and Ministry of Communal Services of Turkmenistan.
Energy saving – one of important trends of the state policy of our country. As manager of the project Irina Atamuradova noted, today in many countries of Europe, USA and CIS, the procedure of energy audit is obligatory for getting energy passport of the building- the document, which keeps the design data on thermal shielding of the building, information about its factual power consumption, and serves as confirmation of correspondence of energy efficiency of the facility with the existing norms. Necessity of passport system is considered from position of particular urgency, first of all on the background of reconsideration of norms of Turkmenistan “Construction heat engineering”. As the result of energy audit, it will be carried out the following certification of the building with providing it a definite class of energy efficiency.
In order that the Turkmen specialists will be well trained for such changes, UNDP project worked out and holds practical training course on energy audit of buildings for the representatives of the sector from all regions of our country. In the course of the seminar, the national experts presented the listeners of the complex approach to the fulfilment of different types of energy audit.
Participants of the seminar visited the exhibition house in Mary as well as under leadership of the experts, held the taking of temperature of air in the rooms and outside. Data about solar radiation and many others, which are essential in the case when the matter is about possibilities of considerable increase of energy audit efficiency, were very important in this connection. According to the results of energy inspection, it was determined a complex of measures on increase of energy efficiency of the buildings, for example, such as installation of double glasses with low-emissive glass, having heat-reflecting qualities. Specialists-colleagues estimated the potential of energy conservation as well as economic efficiency in offered conditions.
The race of analogous training seminars is going on. A regular place of meeting of the specialists of communal services and local energy companies will become the administrative center of Lebap province.
