Responsible agricultural campaign – cotton sowing has started in Dashoguz province. The leaseholders of “Akgala” Peasants’ Association of Koneurgench etrap first proceeded to the sowing of seeds in soil.
Tractors of “John Deer”, “Case”, “Belarus-1221”, MTZ-80X, MTZ-82.1, “Claas” brands and other modern modifications, 670 sowing aggregates, different kinds of soil processing mechanisms have been fully prepared for important agricultural campaign and put into operational conditions. It was worked out the maneuvering routes of agricultural machinery.
140 thousand hectares of land are planned to be sown with cotton all over the province. Preference was shown to such sorts as “149F”, “C-4727”, “Dashoguz-120”, “Serdar” stable to local soil and climatic conditions. Middle-fiber cotton sort of the national selection “Jeyhun” will be cultivated on the fields of Agricultural joint-stock company named after Sadulla Rozmetov of etrap named after S.A. Niyazov. Famers of a series of specialized farms of the province will be engaged in growing of seed cotton.
