Turkmen specialists took part in the regional agrarian seminar held in Israeli city Nahalal. Seminar entitled “Integrated protection of plants: state and further extension” was organized for workers of agro-industrial complex with assistance of Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

At this forum, Turkmenistan was represented by the employees of the Ministry of Agriculture – Service for plants protection and Cotton-growing Research Institute. Participants of the seminar have been familiarized with production aspects of ecologically pure agricultural product – from the stage of development of methods in the scientific centers up to their realization on the example of work of Israeli farmers. Taking into account the similarity of climatic conditions, the methods used by the Israeli people in cultivation of fruit and vegetable, protection of plants with minimal use of chemical agents can be interesting for our specialists.
