In 2016 the Seydi oil refining factory will begin the manufacture of high-quality "Euro-5” mark gasoline. In comparison with previous generation of gasoline this automobile fuel distinguishes with lowered maintenance of sulphur and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.
Engines on this gasoline work more silent, facilitates their start, corrosion processes are prevented, vibration decreases, and specific fuel consumption decreases. Process of combustion of fuel mix in engines improves that increases the service life of neutralization system of fulfilled gases. Use of the fuel corresponding to the standard "Euro-5", will lower the emission of combustion products in atmosphere - such, as firm particles, окиси carbon, nitrogen oxide and unburnt hydrocarbons.
Existing installation L-З5-11/1000 will be finished to conformity of requirements of Turkmenistan State standards, the automated management system will be introduced, pneumatic system will be replaced with electronics, as well as equipment with fulfilled resource. The tender for designing and installation reconstruction on manufacture of new generation gasoline was won by "Westport Trading Europe Limited" company (USA).
Application of cutting-edge technologies at installation reconstruction will allow to lower essentially the energy expenditure at operation and increase the product yield and quality, to provide efficiency and safe operation of object, as well as environment protection.
In the beginning of this year here, at Seydi oil refining factory, new technological installation on manufacture of road bitumen had been put into operation by "Westport Trading Europe Limited" company. The complex is located on 1,5 hectares area is calculated for processing of 118 thousand tons of black oil per year, from which 37,2 thousand tons of high-quality road bitumen will be produced.
Researches in the research centre of the company allowed to develop the technology, allowing to yield road bitumen from Turkmen oil with high percentage of paraffin content, not conceding by quality to similar foreign production and completely corresponding to the international standards. Instead of oxidation process, the technology of a viscosity breaking with the subsequent vacuum distillation will be used here. As a result of thermal disintegration of high-molecular paraffins the bitumen property will considerably improve.
Modern highways should be constructed of a high-quality road-building material, because of climatic conditions it is a pressing issue for Turkmenistan. Thus, the road bitumen with high operational indicators becomes a strategic material for the country.
