Objects of industrial zone are under construction in Ak bugday etrap of Ahal province. Tens of manufactures aimed at release of production from local raw materials intended for export and substitution of import will be concentrated here within the frameworks of a single cluster.
The Union of industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan realize the project of modern industrial area with the developed infrastructure. The useful area of an industrial zone with the allocated territory of more than 260 hectares consists of 11 sectors, in total divided into 140 industrial sites.
Start of hi-tech capacities on manufacture of various demanded production is expected in the new industrial zone. First of all, it concerns the materials and products for the construction industry. The list of production planned for manufacture, is extensive enough. Here the release of glass, armature decks, paints and varnish production, polyurethane products, load gripping slings, decorative stone, composite panels, metalware, electronic knots, furniture, windows and doors, packing containers will be adjusted. The organization of manufacture of plastic products for industrial and household purpose, disposable ware, as well as release and repair of refrigerating devices for autorefrigerators, packing of loose products is planned.
The future industrial zone is capable to yield large economic benefit. Its social aspect is not less important: cluster will create about 10 thousand new working places.
