The Turkmenhimiya State Concern significantly increased the production volume – 2.3 times – as compared with the same period in 2014.
In January-July, the enterprises of the Turkmenhimiya State Concern exceeded the production plan by 18.6 per cent. The growth rate of mineral fertilizer production made almost 226 per cent. In the reporting period the technical iodine production volume remained the same, the growth rate of technical carbon production made 104.2 per cent and sodium sulphate production - 115.2 per cent.
The industrial complex with the capacity to produce 400,000 tons of ammonia and 640,000 tons of carbamide per year was put into operation in Mary in October 2014.
The carbamide production plant in Garabogaz in Balkan Velayat is under construction. It will have the capacity to produce 1.155 million tons per year. The flagship of Turkmenistan’s chemical industry – the ore-dressing and processing enterprise in Garlyk with the capacity to produce 1.4 million tons of fertilizers per year – is under construction.
