This year, in Farab etrap stretched along the right bank of Amudarya for one and a half hundreds of kilometers, about 8 thousand hectares are allotted under cotton. Soon, on all this area, it will be started mass harvesting campaign. The yielded raw material will be delivered to cotton deports of Eldzhik, Osty and Narazym.
The largest reception point is located in the etrap ginnery in northern suburb of Farab settlement and near to the basic line. In particular, the finished product is sent therefrom to the textile complexes of the country, delivered abroad as well. On the threshold of a processing season of new harvest, all necessary repair and spadework was held at the enterprise.
Until recently, in Lebap, there were 10 ginneries. In addition, in last July, up-to-date enterprise with capacity of 40 thousand tons was put into operation in Karabekaul etrap. The new large object is urged not only to produce a fiber, meeting the strict requirements, but also first to satisfy the needs of the province in seed material of the highest quality.
