With a view of stimulation of national commodity producers, protection of their interests and increase of competitiveness of goods made by them as well as regulation of trade turnover, according to the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan the list of a number of goods on which the customs duties are established at import on territory of Turkmenistan, and also the sizes of the customs duties is confirmed. The decision enters into force beginning from October 1st, 2015.

The list includes a number of food products, including sausage products, fruit-and-vegetable production, fruit juice and soft drinks.

According to the document the Ministry of economy and development of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Finance of Turkmenistan, State customs service of Turkmenistan jointly with the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan are prescribed to prepare and submit to the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan the offer on introducing changes and additions to the legislation of Turkmenistan.
