On the territory of Ak bugday etrap of Ahal province, the construction of complex on furniture and accessories production approaches to an end. It will contain both the mini-factories and industrial plants for manufacture of a wide spectrum of finishing materials, house goods and home decorations. As a whole, 450 workplaces will be created here.
Construction of the project, stretched on the area almost in 50 hectares, is realized by the national companies – the members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. 18 shareholders participate in the implementation of project. They intended in the shortest terms to begin the manufacture of furniture products from ecologically pure materials and corresponding to the requirements of international standards.
Alongside with the furniture manufacturing plants, there will be the shops on fulfillment of individual orders. In total, the enterprises will expose on sale a wide assortment of all categories of case and upholstered furniture, ready sets for drawing rooms, children's, bedrooms and kitchens, tables and chairs, fixtures, decorative finishing materials, ornaments and accessories. All production will be reliable, convenient, practical and ergonomic. And it is especially important that they are considerably cheaper than the similar goods from foreign manufacturers.
High quality of the industrial goods for house by national manufacturers was appreciated by the potential consumers, who have visited in March of this year the International Exhibition of furniture and household goods, being annually held by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. One of participants of the project has already begun mass production of mattresses under a trade mark “Chigildem”. The presented samples on the basic technical characteristics as durability, orthopedic safety, hygiene and hygroscopicity are made at level of world standards, and richness of soft furnishings and designing approaches promise a wide assortment and possibilities of choice for buyers.
