The exhibition of economic achievements of Turkmenistan was held in Ashgabat. The versatile exhibition, held at the Sergi Kosgi Exhibition Centre, presented the main institutions of the state sector of the economy and the spheres of education and culture, sports and tourism as well as private companies.

The pavilions of Turkmengaz State Concern, Turkmennebit State Concern, Turkmenhimiya State Concern, Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, Turkmengeologiya State Corporation, Turkmenenergo State Power Corporation that occupied the first floor of the Exhibition Centre showcased the dynamics of growth of the basic sectors of the national economy, in particular rapidly developing infrastructure, the scale of developed and newly developed oil and gas fields, future routes for ‘blue fuel’ exports to foreign countries, the reserves of other minerals and natural resources and power transmission networks.

The exposition also included the pavilions of private companies and firms that were operating in the domestic market in such sectors as construction and building materials production, the introduction of innovations for energy and water supply, production of household chemical goods, textiles and furniture and food products, carpet making and crafts and decorative art.
