Cotton growers in the country are preparing for cotton sowing campaign.

Agricultural workers in the country work hard to prepare the fields for the upcoming cotton sowing campaign at the high level. After all, a serious and responsible approach to the current work in the fields, the timely implementation of all necessary measures in compliance with agricultural standards secures heavy crop of ‘white gold’.

Preparations for sowing cotton will be completed by early April this year. For the upcoming campaign, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection has procured over 74,000 tons of selected, high-quality and high-yielding cotton seeds. Throughout the cotton campaign, the Ministry also provides technical services to agricultural workers. The State Committee for Water Management ensures provision of irrigation water, and the State Concern "Türkmenhimiýa" – fertilizers.
