KAMAZ intends to launch production of special equipment in Turkmenistan

In 2022, the Russian company KAMAZ, a manufacturer of diesel trucks and diesel engines, plans to launch the production of special equipment in Turkmenistan, the press service of the enterprise reports.

The project on organizing the production of special equipment in Turkmenistan was discussed during the recent visit of the delegation of Tatarstan to Turkmenistan, at the meeting of the General Director of KAMAZ Sergey Kogogin discussed with the President of the country Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

A list of special superstructures proposed for installation in Turkmenistan has now been prepared; the possibility of assembling tank trucks for drinking and industrial water, fuel trucks, garbage trucks, and aerial platforms is also being considered.

According to the company, the construction and commissioning of the assembly building based on the service center in the Turkmen capital is scheduled for the IV quarter of 2022.

It should be noted that during the period of bilateral cooperation, KAMAZ has delivered more than 11 thousand vehicles to the country - of which 2 thousand have been delivered over the past three years.

“Since 2008, a training and service center“ KAMAZ ”with an area of more than 5 thousand square meters has been operating in Ashgabat. The company is building new auto centers in the regions of the country. The official opening of the service center in Turkmenbashi is scheduled for late October 2021. By the end of 2021, the company plans to open a service center in Lebap, in 2022 - centers in Mary and Dashoguz, ” the message says.
