Garlic cultivation continues

The Turkmen land is a plentiful and blessed land. Vegetables and fruits growing here are distinguished by their taste, nutritional and healing properties. One of these herbs is garlic, widely used in folk medicine, which is mentioned in the scientific and encyclopedic book of the President of Turkmenistan "Medicinal Plants of Turkmenistan" and whose healing properties are fully explored. It is reported that garlic was planted 4 thousand years ago in Central Asia, Iran and Pakistan, and then spread to other parts of the world and was widely used in folk medicine. This agricultural year, 400 hectares of garlic were sown in the daykhan associations and farms in all districts of the Lebap velayat of the country. By the way, it is important to note that garlic is grown in the provinces using the world's most advanced garlic growers, and it has a special role to play in sowing in accordance with agrotechnical requirements and achieving full germination. Care continues for this very important crop, which has turned green and is gaining growth and whose sowing was completed on September 29. Working in this area in the etraps of velayat ensures that next year there will be a rich harvest of garlic.
