On the fields of Ashgabat Altyn Asyr and Turkmenbashi Shagadam, semifinal matches of the Turkmenistan-2021 Football Cup will be held. This became known following the drawing of lots held today in the conference hall of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan.

Thus, in the semifinal matches, which will be held on December 7, the current winners of the Turkmenistan Cup «Altyn Asyr» will host the vice-champion of the country «Akhal», and the bronze medalist of the last year's national championship «Shagadam» will play in the city of Turkmenbashi with the finalist of the Cup of Turkmenistan-2020 «Kopetdag ».

Let's remind, unlike the previous draws, in the current tournament the pair winners at all stages are determined by the results of one match, not two.

Earlier, in all quarterfinal fights, success was accompanied by the guests: «Nebitchi» – «Altyn Asyr» - 5:6 (in regular time - 2:2, in the penalty shootout - 3:4), «Ashgabat» – «Akhal» - 1:2 , «Merv» – «Shagadam» - 1:3, «Energetik» – «Kopetdag» - 4:5 (in regular time - 1:1, in the penalty shootout - 3:4).

The winner of the Turkmenistan Cup will be announced on December 22.

Last year, Ashgabat «Altyn Asyr» beat «Kopetdag» in the final - 4:1 (1:1 - in regulation time, 3:0 - in a penalty shootout).
