Scheduled capacity of new production is 1500000 tons per year, or 37000 barrels per day of liquid synthetic fuel, meeting the requirements of modern international standards. For processing of gas into motor fuel, through regional gas pipeline East-West laid nearby, the enterprise will annually receive 3.7 billion cubic meters of natural gas.
At the request of the State Concern “Turkmengaz”, the general contractor of the company – Hyundai Engineering Co, Ltd, LG International (Republic of Korea), Itochu Corporation (Japan) will build “turnkey” the enterprise. There will be constructed the installations for gas purification and its synthesis using well-known technology of Fischer-Tropsch (licensor of technological process -. Sasol Limited (South Africa), which allows converting natural gas into high quality gasoline and diesel fuel through the stage of methanol formation. Production on such scheme is quite convenient, since all reactions occur in one reactor.
Within the framework of Program for Development of oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan until 2030, on the initiative of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, it is realized the construction of several new super modern gas and oil refineries. The largest gas processing enterprise - the plant for production of gasoline from natural gas is constructed in Ovadan-depe settlement of Akhal province. It was widely expanded the works on construction of gas-chemical complex for production of polyethylene and polypropylene in the village Kiyanly, which is designed to process 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas for production of 386000 tons of polyethylene and 81 thousand tons of polypropylene per year. It is realized jointly with consortium of TOYO Engineering Company (Japan), LG International Corporation and Hyundai Engineering Corp. Ltd (South Korea).
