Turkmen students won 53 medals in the International Competition in Mathematics

53 different medals – such are the results of the participation of Turkmen students in the International Student Team Competition in Mathematics, organized by the University of Silesia, Katowice (Poland) and Uppersilesian Branch of the Polish Mathematical Society.

13 gold medals won the experts in the «queen of science» from six higher educational institutions of our country. 4 gold medals – are in collection of the students of the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli. 3 more gold medals - in collection of the students of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction.

By two gold medals have the students of the International University of Humanities and Development and the State Energetic Institute of Turkmenistan. By one golden medal - the students of the Turkmen State Pedagocic Institute named after S. Seydi and Turkmen Agricultural Institute. 

17 silver and 23 bronze medals won the representatives of the above mentioned higher educational institutions, and of the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenista, the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan and the Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan.

The remarkable thing is that most of honorable second and third place, namely, 7 silver and 8 bronze medals have the experts of mathematics from Makhtumkuli TSU. The second place according to number of prize winners takes IUH&D - 4 silver and 6 bronze medals.

Another 10 students received the recognition gifts according to the results of the mathematic competition. In general, in the International Competition students from nine higher educational institutions represented Turkmenistan, who participated in the online format. 

Annual International Competition in Mathematics brought together in its platform over 300 students of the higher educational institutions and 50 student teams from various countries of the world – Turkmenistan, Poland, Russia, Czechia, Indonesia Republic of Bangladesh.
