President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayıl Cabbarov Çingiz oğlu.
According to Mikayıl Cabbarov Çingiz oğlu, Azerbaijan attaches great importance to building up economic cooperation between the two countries. In this context, the guest noted that the recommendations of Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Ilham Aliyev had created the necessary basis for achieving the goals and objectives of strengthening interstate dialogue.
Meeting participants exchanged views on priority issues of the interstate cooperation in the context of the agreements reached at the highest level, as well as the existing solid potential for building up partnerships across its entire spectrum. Particular emphasis was placed on the high dynamics of the development of productive ties, which are successfully built both in bilateral and multilateral formats - within the framework of authoritative international organizations and structures.
At the same time, it was emphasized the necessity to continue creating economic, financial and legal conditions for entrepreneurial activity, holding forums that contribute to strengthening contacts between the business circles of the two countries.
During the meeting, it was noted that the geographical position of the two neighboring states created favorable conditions for the effective combination of efforts in the implementation of projects to form transcontinental transport and transit corridors to ensure efficient land and sea routes for transporting goods, and their integration into the international transport infrastructure. In this context, the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan underlined the importance of the creative initiatives put forward by the Turkmen leader in this area.
The guest said that the agreements reached during the visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan gave a powerful impetus to the further development of transport and logistics ties. In this context, it was emphasized that our countries, using their modern infrastructure, provided transit services to various states that strengthens interregional and bilateral relations. Exchanging views on this issue, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a number of constructive proposals.
In conclusion of the meeting, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Mikayıl Cabbarov Çingiz oğlu expressed confidence that interstate relations would continue to develop on a long-term and constructive basis.
