Today President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening ceremony of a new textile complex erected in the Babadaykhan etrap of the Ahal velayat.

As you know, the construction of a new textile complex in the Babadaykhan etrap was started in accordance with the Resolution of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov adopted in May 2018.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasizes that special attention should be paid to the compliance of the complex produce with international quality and environmental safety standards. Products of the industry enterprises are marked with certificates ISO 9001 “Production management and quality control system”, ISO 14001 “Environmental protection”, and OHSAS 18001 “Labor protection and industrial safety”.

A musical and dance composition performed by the folklore and ethnographic ensemble of the Dokmaçylar cultural center of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan added bright colors to the holiday palette.

Thanking the artists for their excellent performance, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov spoke with the head of the ensemble, People's Artist of Turkmenistan Jemal Saparova.

During the conversation, the leader of the nation noted that, as in all industries, it is necessary to actively introduce and effectively use innovative technologies and methods in the sphere of culture and art, including creation of new musical pieces and dance compositions.

Expressing heartfelt gratitude to the leader of the nation for tireless care and attention shown by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to augment the spiritual heritage of the Turkmen people, creating necessary conditions for full-fledged creative activity, the head of the folklore and ethnographic ensemble “Dokmaçylar” assured that she would continue to devote her skills to prosperity of our beloved Motherland.

Then the head of Turkmenistan went to the building where the participants of the current celebration gathered, including the chairwoman of the Mejlis Milli Gengesh, deputy chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh, deputy prime ministers, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, ministries and sectoral departments, hyakim of Ahal velayat, public organizations and mass media. All of them stood and greeted the national leader with applause.

Addressing those present, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that in the era of power and happiness in an independent, permanently neutral Motherland, great things are being carried out - fundamental transformations are successfully implemented in all spheres of life, and new heights are achieved. This year, proclaimed as the year “Turkmenistan is the Motherland of Peace and Trust”, on the occasion of the glorious 30th anniversary of the country's independence, dozens of modern facilities have been commissioned.

As you know, recently a large textile complex was put into operation in the Kaakhka etrap of the Ahal velayat. Today, in a solemn atmosphere, we are opening a new textile complex in the Babadaykhan etrap of the Ahal velayat, designed to process 5,000 tons of fine-staple cotton per year.

This once again clearly demonstrates the achievements of the colossal progress of the textile industry, which was formed in the era of independence and is one of the key spheres of the national economy, the President of the country said.

Babadaykhan Textile Complex, one of the largest modern enterprises, includes four production buildings. The structure of the new facility, which costs 151 million 800 thousand US dollars, includes a spinning, dyeing, sewing and weaving factories.

The total area of the complex is 20 hectares. In addition to production facilities, a 2-storey administrative building, production warehouses, transformer station, workshop, and a fire safety building have been built here in order to create favorable conditions for workers.

A canteen for 450 seats, a sports ground, two two-storey hotels for 16 beds have also been erected here, allowing to provide comfortable conditions to the workers of the complex.

The complex, designed to make a worthy contribution to increasing the economic power of the country, is equipped with the most advanced equipment from well-known companies from Switzerland, Japan, Belgium, Italy, Germany and Turkey, the head of state continued.

The complex is designed to produce 3,300 tons of high-quality yarn per year, 20 million square meters of various types of fabric, including 18 million meters of dyed fabric and 3,500,000 ready-made garments, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stated.

With the commissioning of this large complex, 1,150 jobs will be created, which is of great importance for the employment of the population of nearby etraps and cities, improving their social and living conditions, the head of state emphasized.

At the end of his speech, once again congratulating everyone on the opening of one of the large industrial enterprises - a new textile complex equipped with modern equipment - in the Babadaykhan etrap of the Ahal velayat, the leader of the nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished everyone good health, family well-being, and the employees of a modern enterprise - great success in their work for the development of the textile industry of our independent homeland!

Further, the President of Turkmenistan heard speeches by representatives of companies producing advanced textile equipment from Belgium, Japan, Germany, Switzerland and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), who joined the participants in using digital system.

The first to speak was Roger Albrecht, head of the business circles of Rieter Management AG (Switzerland), who emphasized that he was glad to have the opportunity to address his best congratulations to the participants in the opening of a new textile complex in the Babadaykhan etrap of Ahal velayat, noting that the company has been cooperating with Turkmenistan for 30 years and intends to further continue this partnership.

Then the director of Picanol (Belgium), shareholder of Rieter (Switzerland) Luc Tak said that it was a great honor for him to take part in the opening ceremony of a new textile complex built in the Babadaykhan etrap of Ahal velayat. Stressing that long-term cooperation has been established between Turkmenistan and the company, the businessman noted that in 2014, Picanol installed 276 looms at the country's textile enterprises, and in 2021, 100 and 110 units of production equipment were received at the Kaakhka and Babadaykhan textile complexes, respectively.

Then the manager of the international technical control and certification company “ALBERK QA” Ms. Begum Adakan noted that she was glad to have the opportunity to take part in the opening of a textile complex in the Babadaykhan etrap of the Ahal velayat, stressing that during the years of independence Turkmenistan achieved high economic growth, various facilities are being commissioned in the textile industry, with equipment from the world's leading companies.

As a result of the enormous work done, the textile industry of Turkmenistan has gained recognition throughout the world, earning high awards and certificates. In this regard, the representative of the company said that it was a great honor for her to present the Certificates ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SA 8000, ISO 45001 and ISO 10002 to the textile complex in the Babadaykhan etrap.

Further, the engineer of the certification department of the Hohenstein Textile Research Institute in Germany, Ursula Seibitin, emphasized that during the years of independence, Turkmenistan has achieved noticeable economic successes, a number of factories and complexes for production of various textile products, equipped with the latest technology from leading world companies, have been built and commissioned.

Babadaykhan Textile Complex was awarded the Certificate of the German company “Monforts” and the Certificate of Quality Management System of Organizations and Enterprises ISO 9001, the Certificate of Social Responsibility Management System SA 8000, as well as the Oeko-Tex Standard Certificate. This is clear evidence that the company is truly environmentally friendly, and its products meet international standards.

The textile industry of Turkmenistan has been famous for its high-quality products for many years, holding ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Certificates.

The new textile complex was also awarded the Monforized certificate.

Then the President of Turkmenistan then went to the main entrance of the textile complex.

A solemn moment is coming: the head of state, under thunderous applause from the audience, cuts the symbolic ribbon - a new object of textile infrastructure is open!

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is heading to the spinning mill in a special vehicle.

The leader of the nation inspects the main workshops of the enterprise, observing the stages of making yarn from cotton fiber. Qualified workers who have undergone training will acquaint the head of state in detail with the technical features and advantages of the installed equipment. Ultra-efficient and high-performance machines of the latest generation from the Swiss manufacturers “Rieter AG” and the Japanese company “Murata Manufacturing Ltd.” allow producing high-quality products that meet international standards. Preference is given to environmentally friendly technologies that will help conserve natural resources and reduce industrial waste.

The head of state was familiarized with the production cycle. Particular emphasis was placed on the fact that the factory has created opportunities for processing 5,000 tons of fine-staple cotton per year, production of 3,300 tons of new high-quality compact-pigne yarn, as well as blended yarns.

In a conversation with an employee of a spinning mill, the head of state inquired about family life, specialty and working conditions. Speaking about the organization of labor at production facilities, the leader of the nation emphasized the importance of strict adherence to safety requirements for the health of employees, pointing out the need to pay more attention to creating a comfortable environment for efficient work at enterprises.

Further, the leader of the nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov went to a weaving factory, where innovative equipment was installed based on the latest technologies. With its help, the characteristic features of fiber and yarn are determined, allowing the manufactured products to fully comply with international standards, ensuring the strength of fabrics, their environmental friendliness.

The weaving specialist informed the head of state that the enterprise is equipped with the innovative technology of the Belgian company Piсanol, which makes it possible to produce 20 million square meters of various high-quality fabrics per year.

Having examined several types of fabrics of different colors, wound on rolls, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inquired about their quality and dye durability.

Then the head of Turkmenistan proceeded to the dyeing department, where state of the art automated production lines and machines were compactly located, allowing the production of bleached, one-colored and printed materials. An employee of this department told the leader of the nation in detail how, after passing through technological control, fabrics undergo various operations, and each type of fabric has its own recipe for finishing and dyeing.

Then the head of state went to the building of the sewing factory in an electric car and got acquainted with the installed equipment from the world manufacturers of finished products “Juki” (Japan), “BAYSONIC” (Turkey), “TEXPA” (Germany) and its production cycle.

According to the specialist of the shop, it is planned to produce 3.5 million units of finished sewing products here.

The structure of the sewing factory includes a modeling department, where young female employees use computers to select the appropriate colors and create patterns born of their inspiration and traditions of the national art school. Placement of patterns - stencil, length, width of the fabric, the volume of intercut residues are automatically determined.

The entire technological process of production is completed in the department of picking and packaging. Here, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was shown how, using high-speed equipment, finished products are first packed in polyethylene, and then assembled at the request of the customer into polypropylene bags or cardboard boxes.

Then President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov examined an exposition deployed in a specially designated place, which presented a rich assortment of finished textile products, including those, produced in the new complex. These are children's, men's and women's clothing, sports uniforms, bed linen, towels, kitchen napkins made from environmentally friendly yarn, hosiery, which became a vivid evidence that the country's textile industry, as a result of the efforts of the Turkmen leader, has reached a new level of development.

Here you can see the products of national brands that have recently gained wide popularity. Among them are garments and knitwear of the Gala brand of the Geoktepe textile complex, Goza of the Ashgabat textile complex, the Bedew brand of the Turkmenbashi jeans complex, sportswear of the Bürgüt brand of the Kipchak textile complex, as well as of the Mary factory Ýeňiş, shopping center “Altyn asyr”, etc.

Then the President of Turkmenistan left a memorable entry in the Book of Honorary Guests.

Leaving the building of the textile complex, the leader of the nation handed the keys to new buses, a car and trucks to the staff of the enterprise.

At the end of the celebration, having warmly said goodbye to the audience, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov boarded the rotorcraft and departed for Ashgabat.
