A private enterprise Gerçek, specialized in making of spring-and-summer and autumn-and-winter range of the men’s, women’s, children’s shoes and shoes for the healthcare centers, increased production. 

Various types of footwear - more than eight million pairs - were produced, representing 30 percent increase over last year. The Mary enterprise, operating seven workshops, and employing 500 workers, has launched the production of the open toe shoes and closed shoes form the synthetic and eco-friendly materials. Recently, a new section appeared here – on production of decorations and embroidery for women’s footwear. At present, the enterprise has already set up production of over 650 types of footwear for all seasons - various types of slippers for various aged children, men and women, sport shoes, gumboots, schoolbags, women’s underskirts and many other. 

The shoe manufacturers use an artificial leather, yarn of different colour, polyurethane, polyvinylchloride as a raw material. Typically, the summer and spring models are manufactured, which differ from each other with variety of fashion, comfortable non-slipping sole and reasonable price. The firm’s production, manufactured from the synthetic and eco-friendly materials, is in demand not only in the domestic market. The Mary’s footwear – light and sensible – is sold to the citizens of the country, as well as to the consumers from Kirgizstan and Afghanistan. The enterprise negotiates with Kazakhstan about the supply of its production.

The head of the firm – the entrepreneur Ayhan Rejepova – informed that the production capacity of the enterprise allows to produce over 19,5 million of pairs of shoes. In the beginning of next year, the enterprise will launch three shoemaking lines, where 100 -150 new types of production will be produced, including, slides, men’s and women’s sandals, open toe shoes and closed shoes for the school-goers and teenagers.

The private enterprise Gerçek, the well-known and leading company not only in Turkmenistan but also in the Central Asia, has been engaged in the manufacturing of various footwear since 2015. Last year it won in nomination of “Industrialist of year” in the competition “Entrepreneur 2020”, organized by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
