The XXVII Minsk International Film Festival “Listopad” ("Falling Leaves") has started in the capital of the Republic of Belarus, within the framework of which was held a meeting of the national film studios of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.

"Cinema is a symphony of unity" - this is the slogan of this year's film festival. Therefore, at a round table held on November 22, the heads of film studios discussed the prospects for joint film projects, the organization of filming in the territories of the CIS member states and the possibility of creating a unified actor's database.

Having familiarized themselves with the presentations of the achievements of the national film studios of the Commonwealth countries, the participants of the meeting touched upon the topic of contemporary cinema, as it should be in the new political, spiritual and cultural space. In recent years, great changes have taken place in the world of cinematography. Viewers and participants of the Minsk International Film Forum will be able to fully appreciate the novelties of the film distribution of the CIS countries and not only.

"Falling Leaves" will run until November 26, films from 45 countries have been announced at the festival.

Oguzkhan Turmenfilm Association, outside the competition program, will present two creative works - the feature film "Durmuş Kyssalary" directed by Arslan Eberdiev and the documentary film "Dutaryň owazy".
