The private enterprises for milk processing and production of various types of dairy products is under construction in Gerogly etrap of Dashoguz velayat. The new building is owned by the member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan Oremuhammet Annagylyjev. Now, the foundation works are completed here, and erection of some bearing reinforced concrete structures was started for the future premises of various purpose. Total area of the new enterprise is two hectares. It will comprise the administration building, shops on milk processing and production of dairy products and milk-containing products, store building, laboratories, technical buildings and others. On the plot allocated by the state to the commodity producer, it is planned to arrange the production of bakery and flour confectionery, that is implemented by the entrepreneur at present. His production under the trade mark «Ýyldyrym» is well-known outside the region.

With the putting into operation, it is planned to process several tons of milk per day in the new enterprise. For this purpose, it is intended to purchase an advanced specialized equipment. In general, many names of various food products will be produced here.

The livestock production in Dashoguz velayat is one of the important branches of agriculture. Here, just in the farm economies and enterprises administered by the state, there are more than ten thousand of heads of cattle, about 100 thousand of sheep and goats and over 4,5 thousand of camels. Therefore, a special attention is paid in the region to the issues of processing the products of livestock branch. Now, as a result of the created by the state favorable economic conditions, the private sector is actively participating in solving this problem. Built by this sector processing productions of different capacity are able to be a great assistance in a large-scaled work on providing the people of the country with the high-quality foodstuff of own production. For example, today a number of new private livestock farms with different milk and meat processing capacity are built in the north of Turkmenistan.
