A conference dedicated to the completion of the initiative on coaching on the export management within the framework of the «Ready4Trade Central Asia» project, was held in the Turkmen capital.
The event provided for the participants an opportunity to consider the archived results, discuss gained experience and recommendations for improvement of the operational activity of the companies.
«The initiative on coaching on the export management is a great support for the local micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSME). The team of the International Trade Center in Turkmenistan has successfully realized it. In general, there are 10 representations of MSME in the country, headed by women, who has trained in the coaching sessions, that is important for the EU for the purpose of providing the gender equality and inclusive environment», - stated Renata Wrobel, Deputy Chief of UN Mission in Turkmenistan.
The training was held by the local experts, who has a great experience in the field of import, export and certification. Within the framework, the on-the-job practical consultative services were offered for the enterprises for improvement of their export management practice.
In the framework of the «Ready4Trade Central Asia» project, the European Union (EU) (and the International Trade Center (ITC) join efforts for contribution to the general sustainable and inclusive economic development of the region through stimulating an intraregional and international trade in the Central Asia. Ready4Trade started in January, 2020 with the 6-months initial stage and will last till December, 2023.
The project consists of five components aimed at elimination of the normative and procedure obstacles for trade, strengthening the potential of complying with the trade formalities and standards, improvement of the cross-border e-commerce with simultaneous expansion of participation of the enterprises headed by women in the international trade.
To achieve its overarching goal, the Ready4Trade project will focus on two key fields: simplification of the trade procedures and e-commerce.
