During the meeting in the conference hall of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan, expert of the Promstroy-Certification LLC (Moscow) Igor Nagayko handed over the certificates of compliance, confirming the high quality of works and services by Turkmen designers in the field of engineering survey and architectural design, to the head of the Scientific and Production Association.
Specialists of the head Project Office of the country specialists have acquired the right to apply for three years in the design of housing and civil and industrial mark of conformity to international quality standards. As stressed in his speech the expert certification body I.Nagayko, the decision to issue a certificate of conformity was made as a result of introduction of scientific-production association of quality management systems to ensure compliance with the design and survey work to international standards.
Specialists of the head office of the Association of the country gained the right to apply the mark on conformance to the international quality requirement while designing housing and civil and industrial facilities within three years. Speaking during the meeting, I. Nagayko noted that the decision on awarding the compliance certificate was taken after the Scientific and Production Association had introduced the quality management system that ensures the compliance of survey and design works to the international standards.
Within one year and a half, the organization has being intensively preparing for the certification of works and services in the construction industry. The Association opened the Quality Department. The Promstroy-Certification LLC trained specialists of the new department. The organisation drafted the regulations on quality and in the near future, each department will conduct an audit, the results are to demonstrate the readiness to ensure the declared quality indicators.
The Turkmengosproect specialists conduct the purposeful work to implement the programme on development of cities and villages drafted on the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The Association received more than a thousand orders for design and survey works last year. This year, the number of orders has increased up to 350 contracts.
The designers prepared documentation for construction of a number of large facilities to be built in the Turkmen capital and in velayats. By order of the President of Turkmenistan, the organization started drafting the general layout for development of all cities and villages of Turkmenistan.
