Byashimova Nurgozel, in the youth was one of the hard-working young people. She graduated the Carpet Department of the Turkmen State Special Art School, and then she became a student of the Makhtumkuli Turkmen State University. On successfully completion of the university in 1972, she began working at the Archeology Department of the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.

There, having learned by the academician of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, Yegen Atagarryev, after in-depth studying of the methods of manufacturing medieval enamel ceramics, embroidery and enamel, she wrote her scientific work on the subject.

To do this, she participates in excavations at medieval archeological monuments in Turkmenistan, examines the found enamel ceramics and compares it to the medieval monuments of neighboring states.

Then she went on to graduate school under the scientific supervision of the academician of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, the world-famous scientist Galina Pugachenkova, who has done a lot in the field of archeological and architectural monuments of Turkmenistan and has written several scientific works. on ceramics.

She got acquainted with the experienced archeologists, such as Zamira Usmanova, head of Department of Archeology of the Historic Faculty of Tashkent State University in Uzbekistan, who discovered the ceramic workshops of Merv, Svetlana Lunina, who specialized in ceramics, and expanded her knowledge at their lessons. Thus, in 1985 she defended the dissertation in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and received the title of Candidate of Art.

The book “Enamel ceramics of the South Turkmenistan in IX-XIV centuries» was published in 1989 based on Nurgozel Byashimova’s scientific work. Nurgozel Byashimova states that she is glad that she learned from such mentors as the academician Yegen Atagarryyev and academician Galina Pugachenkova.

In 1973, for the first time she took part in the excavatopns of the historic monument Shakhrislam, 20 kilometers to the North from Baherden. Then she increased her experience participating in the excavations in Dekhistan, Dashrabkhat, Kunya-Urgench,, Nisa, Merv, Paryzdepe, Amul and some other monuments.

Articles about the ceramic, glass and metal finding of the medieval monuments of Turkmenistan, and decorations on their surfaces, about the carpet patterns and other findings of medieval buildings, are published not in our country, but also in foreign states, such as Tatarstan, Uzbekistan, Great Britain, Russia, India and Japan.

N. Byashimova participated in dozens of the state and international scientific conferences on the cultural heritage in our country, as well as abroad, including Tashkent and Samarkand in Uzbekistan, Delhi in India, Baku in Azerbaijan, Kazan in Russian Federation, Antalya and Istanbul in Turkey.

In accordance with the State Program of the study on the scientific basis of the historical and cultural monuments of Turkmenistan, located on the Great Silk Road for 2018-2021, approved by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and plans of the National Directorate for Protection, Study and Restoration of Historical and Cultural Monuments, the specialists of the Institute of History and Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan carry out the excavations work under the guidance of N. Byashimova on the Great Silk Road near the archeological monument Amul. The ancient city Amul was one of the first large cities of the middle reaches of Amudarya river. The purpose of excavations is to reveal the cultural layers of Amul, introduction of the revealed material values in the scientific turnover, data gathering, addition of the new pages in the history and exhibition of findings in museum.

In the Amul excavations participated also the teachers of history and students, undergoing internship, of the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi. The students were told in detail about the excavations and findings, their individual characteristics and about the Amul monument in general, as well as about the scientists who worked there.

A number of articles were published in the scientific magazine «Science and technologies in Turkmenistan» and in press about the results of excavations. For collection of articles about the newly revealed findings from the monuments of the Great Silk Road in Turkmenistan, the scientific article was prepared and presented about the Amul monument.

N. Byashimova headed a group of expeditions to Ahal velayat, which was organized for gathering the ethnographic information on provinces of Turkmenistan in 2013-2014.

In 2017, the Central council of women's union of Turkmenistan and Academy of Science of Turkmenistan organized for the first time a competition dedicated to the Day of Science. Nurgozel Byashimova won first place in this competition. The scientist woman talked about the scientific work, carried in our country, and the historic monuments of our country on television and radio, in the media.

N. Byashimova was awarded «Gayrat» medal in 2008 and «Makhtumkuly Pyragy» medal in 2014.
