In 2021, the Christmas tables of our compatriots will be different types of fruits, vegetables, melons and other products, mainly environmentally friendly, grown on their land, as a result of the diligent work of our country farmers, cotton growers, grain growers as well as the rice growers of our country, who have already fulfilled their contractual obligations. This proud fact is proved by the achievements of the farmers of Lebap velayat, as is the case in all parts of our sovereign land.

By the end of the year in the velayat 13,625 tons of tomatoes, 22,563 tons of onions, 4,510 tons of cabbage, 16,779 tons of carrots, 42,041 tons of various types of melons, 32,234 tons of potatoes were produced; thus, the state plans have been implemented in excess. It is gratifying to note that in the velayat, crops such as mung and beans have also been harvested, and despite the high heights achieved, the carrot harvesting season is still going on.

Fresh melons, fruits and vegetables are immediately shipped to the markets of the country, while the other part is placed in 2 modern refrigerated warehouses, belonging to the “Miwe” Agricultural Industrial Association with a capacity of one thousand and three thousand tons, which will help ensure abundance of food on the tables of our compatriots on the eve of the New Year, as well as throughout the year.

It is also important to note that in the velayat, for next year's crop, the planted garlic and onion are fully grown, and these crops are cared for in accordance with the agricultural requirements.

In the province, the heavy harvest of vegetables and various types of fruits, and of potatoes in the dayhan associations of all etraps and household farms, is a result of the organization of work, proper use of the powerful machinery, implementation of the most advanced achievements of science, selection of high-yielding varieties, notable for their nutritional value and suitable for the soil and climatic conditions.
