The International Textile Exhibition titled "Textile industry is on the innovative way of development in an era of power and happiness" - a major industrial gathering dedicated to the annual celebration of Day of Textile Industry Workers.
The representatives of six dozen of major companies and enterprises from 14 countries of Europe and Asia attended this exhibition. Among regular participants of our traditional partners who have great experience in productive cooperation in the construction of textile facilities are the Turkish company "Cotham Enterprises", "Engin Group», «Norsel International», «Gap Inşaat», as well as manufacturers and suppliers of high-tech equipment and materials - "Truetzschler», «Saurer Schlafhorst», «Volkmann» (Germany), "Picanol» and «Vande Wiele» (Belgium), «Uster», «Luwa», «Rieter AG» (Switzerland), a group of Italian companies "Marzoli", "Savio »,«MCS »,« Itema»,«Canal air», who are ready to present their new technologies and designed solutions.
Managers and specialists of textile enterprises and trading companies from Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine as part of a large delegation arrived in the capital city. Among the guests of honor of the exhibition forum are the the most famous Russian designers, the trendsetter of high fashion Valentin Yudashkin, who not once made the national audience happy by showcasing for new fashion collection, and Dasha Gauser who first visited Turkmenistan.
Large scale expositions and an impressive range of diverse textiles which are produced by our country display in the exhibition. The colorful stands designed in the national style display all trends of textile production from a wide range of goods, certified high quality yarns from natural raw materials up to finished products made of cotton and silk that makes up serious competition of products’ quality and design among foreign manufacturers. It has been showcased samples of cotton yarns and fabrics, garments, a diverse range of knitting kits for children and adults, great stylish denim products developed in line with trends of modern fashion.
It is widely presented assortment of home textiles which are hosiery, bed linen, kitchen utensils, terry cloth, as well as samples of medical cotton and cosmetic cotton means. Special attention of visitors is attracted by iridescent colors of velvet fabrics, the "keteni" national fabrics and products made out of it. Hand-made silk carpets and silk cocoons are presented which are utilized as the main raw material for the silk industry and a collection of traditional and modern Turkmen women's clothing, artfully decorated with national ornaments, handmade embroideries, as well as souvenirs and accessories.
A special stand which is prepared by national designers displays samples of costumes with logos for the upcoming V Asian Indoor Games and Martial Arts in Ashgabat in 2017.
Thanks to comprehensive modernization and to significant investments in manufacturing capacity of industrial sector, today more than 70 companies, and more than three dozen of modern facilities which are producing a wide range of goods. Among them -Ruhabat factory of velvet production, Turkmenabat silk production association, the largest in the region Turkmenabat cotton spinning mill, Ruhabat textile complex for the production of mixed fabrics, "Ashgabadtekstil", Denim complex and many others.
Currently, due to the industrial and structural reforms, as well as commissioning of high-tech industries in the capital and in the regions, those industries are capable of producing up to 120 thousand tons of cotton yarns and 186 million square meters of fabrics, 11 thousand tons of knitted fabrics, 7,2 thousand tons of terry cloths, 100 million pieces of ready-made garments.
Today, new types of products provide Hosiery Company, launched on the basis of Ashgabad cotton spinning mill, knitting workshop with the annual production of 25,000 sweaters based on Ashgabat Fashion House.
This year, it is planned to commissioning Kaahka cotton factory enterprise on production of 1 thousand 300 tons of ply yarn per year, as well as on the basis of Ashgabat textile complex there is another plant aimed at recycling textile waste capacity of 5 thousand tons of regenerated fiber per year. And those goods are keenly popular and in needs among foreign consumers.
Schools of modeling and design are successfully developing on the basis of experimental workshops which are working under each textile complex aimed at development of creative interpretation of the national artistic and decorative traditions...
... A colorful fashion show, a showcase of brand collection of garments developed by designers of Ashgabat Fashion House replaced the official part of the opening ceremony. The audience gave an ovation to children's costumes, original textile and knitted models, and, of course, amazing dresses made of silk, velvet and keteni decorated with national ornaments, as well as a collection of luxurious evening dresses, neatly embroidered by national silver ornaments.
First time, on the Ashgabat podium it was introduced collection of dresses and pant suits made of natural fabrics by Dashi Gauser Fashion House. Glorious runway of models, representatives of Valentin Yudashkin Fashion House, are showcasing delicate style of the world famous fashion designer has completed with a magical parade of models.
In the framework of exhibition forum in the solemn ceremony, the best workers of the industry on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov are conferred diplomas and valuable gifts.
