The workers of the agro-industrial complex of Lebap velayat, who exceeded the targeted contractual obligations on cotton supply to the state in 2021, and in order to have a heavy yield of the “White gold” in the new 2022 year, which approaches with happiness and prosperity, a large scope of work is carried out.

Next year, 130 thousand hectares will be planted with cotton in the velayat, and it is planned to harvest 310 thousand ton of cotton, that is, to reach a yield of 24.4 centners per hectare.

At present, in all etraps of the velayat, in land cleaned from the remnants of cotton plant, the ploughing is well under way. About 200 powerful machinery continuously operate in the velayat for this important work, an area of about 2 thousand 280 hectares is ploughed every day.

The organized works on preparing the machinery for the spring planting is also carried out in velayat. In the operating machinery service enterprises of etraps dozens of cotton sowing machines, 1094 units of cotton thread processing equipment, 366 units of mineral fertilizer equipment were repaired. Besdides, the planters, available in the daykhan associations of etraps, have been completely repaired and put in preparation for the season. By the way, it is important to note that spare parts have also been prepared for the machinery, planters and trailers to be used during the cotton sowing season. This will allow the work to be carried out smoothly in a responsible season that determines the fate of the harvest.
