A competition of scientific works among young people, annually held by the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Makhtumkuli, has been announced.
The State review, established by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, is designed to promote the development of domestic science, the formation of a new generation of scientists, and the stimulation of their research activities in the most important, significant and most demanded areas.
The representatives of the Academy of Sciences, research institutes, industrial associations, scientific and technical enterprises, students of universities, master's, postgraduate and doctoral studies, secondary schools and secondary specialized schools, as well as Turkmen citizens of any profession who are interested in active scientific work are invited to participate in the intellectual competition among young scientists.
The choice of a topic for scientific work for the competition is quite wide, the main thing is to consider its topicality and relevance. Among the proposed topics: nanotechnologies, chemical technologies; molecular biology, ecology; information and communication systems, computer technologies; innovative economy and etc. Topics from the field of medicine, the humanities and others are also welcome. In a word, the competition, which will bring together young scientists of the country, promises to be not only extremely interesting, but also productive in terms of enriching modern science. The results of the competition of scientific works among young people will traditionally be summed up on the Day of Science, which is celebrated in our country on June 12.
Turkmenistan creates all the necessary conditions for the development of domestic science, including the conduct of scientific research, discoveries, the introduction of advanced achievements and technologies. Thanks to the state’s comprehensive support of young scientists, the number of contestants of the prestigious intellectual competition is increasing every year.
Let us recall, that last year the scientific competition gathered more than 1,000 participants at its site. How much this figure will grow this year will become known a little later, when the full list of participants in the competition is determined. In the meantime, for all young scientists of the country who want to take part in it, preliminary qualifying stages are held, designed to identify the worthiest of them and, as a result, make up a team of contestants.
