A vivid confirmation of it is the project on construction of the international railway Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Tajikistan which is initiated by our country and implemented in cooperation with partner states.

Today, the railway road has been built up to the station Ymamnazar, at the 80th km of ramification of road. Meantime, the work is underway on laying power lines, construction of infrastructure facilities at the stations Gulistan and Ymamnazar, construction at this track of two major railway bridges (363 meters and 256 meters in length).
This section of railway is of great importance taking into account the rapid development of Lebap region, which today represents the largest industrial center, in particular, is being built another industrial giant - mining and processing complex for the production of potash fertilizers, which play an important role in the context of implemented diversification plan of the national economy, capacity building of domestic chemical industry.
