Grain fields of the northern region are 157 thousand hectares. The farmers gave preference to such proven for local soil and climate conditions types of wheat as “Sahran”, “Juvan”, Bat’ko”. “Anniversary-100”, “Irishka” and “Vassa”. 335 grain harvesters of world famous manufacturers as “CLASS”, “John Deere”, “Case” and “New Holland” were used in the sowing. Hundreds of lorries were transporting the wheat to delivery points, barns and grain elevators. Mobile maintenance and breakdown teams serviced the farmers round-the-clock, providing necessary supplies like fuel, lubricants, spare parts for equipment.


The State supports the farmers in all possible way, providing with elite high-yield crop seeds, mineral fertilizers, and modern equipment from leading manufacturers. Purchase price for agricultural production is raised regularly, first of all, for grain and cotton. Big attention is paid to construction of irrigation, land reclamation networks, agricultural processing facilities, implementation of advanced agricultural equipment, scientific researches, development of domestic selection, training of highly professional personnel, and improvement of work and life conditions of rural people.

Harvesting time is still going on. The farmers aimed at gathering of most valuable food crop remained in the field in optimum time and without losses.

Good news received these days – reports of Ahal and Dashoguz velayat from June 5 and 6 relatively, are weighty declaration for successful completion of undertaken assignments by grain growers of the country in harvest – 2016.
