The VIII SGS Food Forum “Quality and safety in details” is held in Moscow recently brought together representatives of governments and non-governmental organizations, various sectors of food industry and agribusiness, trade, public catering and logistics sector of Russia and the countries of the former Soviet Union. Meeting of professionals has become a discussion forum focused on product quality and the sustainable development of the food industry. 200 professionals participated in the forum, including representatives of Turkmenistan – specialists of «Netijelilik» economic association.

The meeting was held in the format of 8 thematic sessions which is focused on management issues of food safety and quality production. Participants were familiarized with current innovations in the field of labeling, logistics management, building an effective management system, the new version of the ISO standard, risk management and sanitary practices.
«Netijelilik» economic association is related to the provision of information and advisory assistance to 22 enterprises producing food products. Among them, members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and Enterprises under Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations and Ministry of Agriculture and Water Industry of Turkmenistan.
Dozens of domestic enterprises operate strictly in accordance with international standards ISO 9001, HACCP, FSSC 22000 standards and etc. Development of quality management system and food production safety, usage of the best world experience are one of the important aspects of the preparations for the 2017 Asian Games and increase the export potential of national food products.
