At the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on Friday, information was made about the construction project on the territory of the “Türkmen aýna önümleri” enterprise in the Gokdepe etrap of the Akhal velayat of an additional workshop for the production of 100 tons of glass products daily. According to the results of the tender, the right to implement this project was given to the individual enterprise "Rysgally zähmet". The decisions taken are important not only in terms of further building up the potential of the domestic glass industry, partnership of the public and private sectors in the development of the national economy, but also in terms of new export opportunities for the country. Today, the use of modern technologies in the glass industry makes glass not only the most popular material in construction. The demand for glass products in the world is also growing due to the "green" trend of replacing plastic and the growing production of vaccines.
The flagship of the glass industry of Turkmenistan and the largest high-tech plant in Central Asia "Türkmen aýna önümleri", launched in February 2018, produces not only glass for construction purposes, but also manufactures various types of glass products that are widely used in industrial production, medicine and household needs. The modern production complex is equipped with specialized equipment from suppliers from Finland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Italy and high technologies from “HORN Glass Industries AG” (Germany).
On automated and robotic conveyor lines of the plant, transparent, tinted, tempered, laminated glass, double-glazed windows and a wide range of glass containers - various containers for the food and medical industries are produced. The enterprise fulfills orders from state organizations, entrepreneurs and business executives. Products offered for export comply with international standards and include: float-clear glass, glass bags, pressed glass, laminated glass, coated glass, as well as piece glass products. Since the first year of operation of the complex, these products have been in demand in neighboring countries and delivered, in particular, to Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and Turkey.
Last year, the “Türkmen aýna önümleri” enterprise produced products worth more than 183 million manats, including more than 5 million 887 thousand square meters of glass sheets, which were delivered to consumers. The implementation of a new project for the construction of an additional workshop at the enterprise will significantly increase its production and export potential.
