The individual enterprise Berk Onum, located in the Vekilbazar district of Mary Velayat, at the beginning of this year started the production of new types of polypropylene tape. The novelty differs from its predecessors in size. The raw materials needed for the production of laminated tape, which is one of the most popular goods on the domestic market, comes from the complex of oil refineries in Turkmenbashi.

The introduction of Chinese equipment will allow the company to produce 41,600 polypropylene adhesives per month. The company, which started production in 2015, now employs dozens of employees. The glue under the trademark “BANT” has a width from 12 mm to 1 m and a length from 10 m to 1000 m. The products of the individual enterprise Berk Onum, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, are exported to a number of neighboring countries. In the future, the company plans to produce polypropylene fiber.
