The capital's "Altyn Asyr" became the first finalist of the Ashgabat Football Cup. The reigning champion of Turkmenistan achieved this success ahead of schedule, two rounds before the end of the two-round competition, beating the Ashgabat team at the stadium in Buzmeyin etrap - 4:2.

At the end of the meeting, thanks to the efforts of Begenchmurad Muradov (71st) and Murad Annaev (86th), Altyn Asyr nevertheless broke the resistance of the opponent and, having scored 10 points, secured a place in the final.

The capital's "Kopetdag", which is lagging behind by 2 points, claims for the second ticket to the final, having defeated the youth team of "Ahal" in the central arena of the multifunctional stadium "Ashgabat" - 4:0. In the team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ikhlas Saparmamedov (35th minute), Batyrklych Berdyev (38th), Yakshisahed Dovletgeldiyev (71st) and Begench Akmamedov (90+2) distinguished themselves.

Ashgabat and Akhal-2 close the standings with 2 and 1 points, respectively.

Matches of the fifth round will take place on May 16. On this day, "Altyn Asyr" will play with substitutes of "Ahal", and "Kopetdag" will meet with "Ashgabat".

Recall that following the results of the two-round tournament, the two best clubs in the final will compete for the main prize, and the two worst teams will compete for 3rd place.

The winner of the Ashgabat Cup will be announced on May 18.
