On May 26, the Country Office in Turkmenistan of the Regional Environmental Center for Central Asia (CAREC), together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan, will hold the third semi-annual and final meeting of the project “Strengthening the capacity of Turkmenistan and supporting the development of country programs and regional actions in addressing issues related to climate change”, implemented under the Readiness program funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF).

The event will take place on May 26 at the “Archabil Hotel”, Ashgabat, from 10.00 to 15.20.

Strengthening the capacity of Turkmenistan in the development of country programs and its fight against climate change is an important and primary condition for the country's access to GCF funds.
