Farmers of the Dashoguz velayat are ready for one of the most important agricultural events - the upcoming harvest. 28 grain receiving points, including seven elevators, have been carefully prepared for uninterrupted operation. At these facilities, as necessary, preventive repairs were carried out to ensure proper storage and transportation of the grown crop. Specialized laboratories are also in full readiness, where the quality of incoming grain will be determined using the most modern equipment.

It is expected that more than four hundred high-performance modern John Deere and CLAAS combines, more than two thousand one hundred vehicles will take part in the upcoming harvest. Appropriate measures have been taken to create technical groups for the repair of harvesting equipment involved in the harvest, uninterrupted delivery of fuels and lubricants, timely settlement with producers for the delivered grain.

Dashoguz velayat is one of the largest grain granaries of the country, where a rich harvest of wheat is grown annually. Here, including taking into account the climatic features of the region, they pay special attention to the rational use of water and land resources, scientific achievements to increase soil fertility and crop yields, and the development of seed selection.

Thanks to state investments and consistently carried out work to build up production capacities for the storage and processing of agricultural products that meet international standards, today a complete agro-technical cycle has been created here, including sowing, harvesting, storage and processing of grain. The region has an extensive network of specialized facilities, including three high-performance flour mills and seven elevators, capable of accepting about 360,000 tons of grain for one-time storage and cleaning. At the same time, the new elevators also have the necessary equipment for harvesting seed material, where the entire technological process for preparing seed grain takes place with strict observance of the necessary sanitary regime, and the acceptance for storage and shipment of grain for processing is provided for both by road and rail.
