Today, in the Turkmen capital, on the square in front of the Palace of Children and Youth a send-off ceremony for schoolchildren to recreation centres of Gökdere, a unique natural resort located in the picturesque piedmont of the Kopetdag took place.
The state also takes care so that schoolchildren, having completed the academic year, spend their holidays joyfully and usefully. Moreover, this year, in early June, the summer season has started in all recreation centres of children of Turkmenistan. Health resorts located in Gökdere and regions receive first young holidaymakers.
Cheerful songs and stirring dances, joyful plays of popular children’s troupes became a creative present for children. To the sound of music, schoolchildren from the capital and regions headed to festively decorated buses, which soon took them to the world of summer adventures.
Such joy and excitement prevailed in recreation centres in the valleys of the Kopetdag as well. Boys and girls to the accompaniment of music organized the solemn march, which covered all recreation centres of children.
For full-fledged recreation of children, buildings are provided with most modern conveniences. Super modern health resorts possess all necessary conditions for useful and joyful pastime of children. They have wonderful playgrounds and facilities for practice of physical training, sports, dance, computer classrooms, and needlework clubs, drama and fine art studios, libraries with rich holdings.
Specialists of ministries of education, sports and the youth policy, culture, health, pubic organizations developed a special cultural and entertaining program. Thanks to their joint efforts, in every summer in recreation centres numerous contests, concerts with participation of novice actors and children’s amateur arts groups, winners of arts competitions of national and international levels as well as famous variety singers and musician, sports tournaments, stage performances and poetry reading are held for various age groups of children.
For schoolchildren, various clubs of their interest run, computer programing and foreign languages classes are organized. Students of higher education institutions to whom working in Gökdere will become a good practice in development of professional skills, help teachers.
Theatre and circus troupes, popular song and dance groups also prepare to meet young spectators. Excursions to sights of our wonderful capital and regions, historical and cultural monuments, museums, centres and amusement parks will be organized for children.
