The installation of metal structures of the main building of a new modern passenger car terminal in the city of Dashoguz is being carried out these days by specialists from the Muhammet-Balkan Economic Society. At the same time, they carry out the necessary electrical and plumbing work, improve the territory of the new building, install granite curbs along the roadsides of the access roads. Various technical premises have already been built here, including a transformer room, a car wash for buses, a water tank and others.
Built to modernize passenger transportation and improve the level of transport services provided to the population, the new auto terminal occupies an area of three hectares of land. Elements of national architecture and decor and innovative digital technologies are widely used in its construction. According to the idea of architects and designers, the new building will be made in the form of an eight-pointed star, with a carpet gel inherent in the region. The two-story building provides all the necessary conditions for passengers and bus drivers. A waiting room, cash desks for selling tickets for all types of passenger transport, information service rooms, storage rooms and others will be built here, the terminal will be provided with modern means of communication, convenient exits to buses and covered taxi stands, and other necessary facilities for various purposes.
The car terminal under construction is one of the visible examples of the work carried out by the state to bring the transport infrastructure of the regions in line with modern standards. Similar comprehensive measures to modernize existing communications and build new facilities are being consistently and everywhere carried out in other sectors of the economy. Thus, only in Dashoguz velayat, construction of a number of various social and industrial facilities is currently being continued at the expense of capital investments, the commissioning of which will significantly increase the economic potential of the northern region of the country and create many additional jobs for the local population.
