As in the whole country, Dashoguz velayat is successfully implementing large-scale reforms aimed at improving the efficiency of the agro-industrial complex, including increasing the production of meat and dairy products and attracting private producers to this sector.

One of the visible results of this work is a new private livestock farm, which is being prepared for commissioning in the near future in the Jeyhun geneshlik of the Gubadag etrap. The new building, designed for the maintenance of two hundred heads of cattle, belongs to the member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, entrepreneur Arslan Chovdurov and was erected on lands allocated by the state to the commodity producer for use for a period of 99 years.

The total area of the farm is three hectares. They built an administrative building, two winter and one summer premises for keeping livestock, a warehouse for storing feed, premises for the veterinary department and equipment repair, a store for selling products, and other necessary industrial and technical facilities. The farm also has modern lighting fixtures and a ventilation system. According to experts, it will produce at least one hundred tons of milk per year.

As you know, one of the main factors in the efficiency of such production is the availability of its own forage base. To create it, the state allocated one hundred hectares of land to a private entrepreneur, most of which is already sown with corn.

In the future, the owner intends to create on the farm a production of meat products, for which he is now preparing a separate room. At the same time, work continues on the improvement of the territory of the new building.

In the northern region, animal husbandry is one of the leading sectors of the agricultural sector. Therefore, special attention is paid here to improving management methods, modernizing the industry on an innovative basis, and increasing its profitability. The role of private business is becoming more and more significant here, for which animal husbandry, thanks to the benefits created by the state, is one of the most profitable vectors of entrepreneurial activity.
