Farmers of the Dashoguz velayat are harvesting some types of vegetable and melon crops. In particular, to date, the first thousand tons of tomatoes, carrots, cabbage have been harvested from the fields here, cucumbers are being harvested at a high pace.

The current agricultural year for local farmers is especially responsible for the simple reason that the volume of production of many types of crops has increased dramatically in the velayat. It is planned to harvest over 24 thousand tons of tomatoes and 2 thousand tons of cucumbers in the region, more than 13 thousand tons of carrots only in spring planting. This is significantly more than in previous years. Such changes are associated with the tasks set for the domestic agro-industrial complex to improve its activities, increase the volume of food production in the country and create food abundance in the domestic market, and turn the domestic agricultural complex into a highly profitable industry. Therefore, in the process of growing vegetables, special attention was paid to the timely implementation of all necessary agrotechnical measures, the proper care of plantings. The farmers of the velayat understand that it is possible to achieve high yields through modern agricultural technologies, rational and efficient use of water resources, which are most suitable for the natural and climatic conditions of the sown area in the region. Among the areas that contribute to the stable provision of the population of the Dashoguz velayat with many types of high-quality food products of own production and purposeful work to create crop varieties that meet the soil and climatic conditions of the northern region, the skillful use of the existing fleet of specialized agricultural equipment.
