On July 21, the Council of the Heads of the Chambers of the States Members of the Commonwealth for representatives of the chambers of commerce and industry and business communities of Turkmenistan, Russia, Azerbaijan, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and Uzbekistan organized a seminar on mutual trade of the CIS member states via videoconference.

Mikhail Myskin, Director of the Economic Cooperation Department of the CIS Executive Committee, became the main speaker of the meeting.

The participants of the seminar got acquainted with the results of the work carried out by the CIS Executive Committee to identify barriers to mutual trade of the CIS member states and exchanged views on the organization of further work to identify and eliminate them. One of the steps in this direction was the proposal to create a permanent working group of representatives of the economic ministries and departments of the CIS member states.
