The Exhibition of Turkmenistan’s economic achievements dedicated to the 25th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan took place in the Expos Centre of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
The festive atmosphere of the jubilee forum, the original design of more than 70 exposition pavilions demonstrated Turkmenistan’s achievements in all spheres – its multifaceted social and economic potential, innovative growth of industries, the richness of the spiritual and cultural life of the Turkmen people.
The subdivisions of the state sector of the national economy, including the fuel and energy complex, Power engineering and industry construction and building materials, transport, communications, agricultural industry, food industry, trade as well as the spheres of science and education, culture, health care, sports and tourism illustrated their achievements.
The private companies stand as a significant driving force in solving the tasks on the country industrialization. Today, they are the reliable partners of the state in various spheres that implement ambitious construction projects, manufacture high-quality competitive products, and ensure the food abundance on the local market.
More than 30 private companies and individual entrepreneurs presented building materials and furniture, textiles, household chemicals, and a wide range of food and vitamin products, floral products and seedlings as well as the works of decorative and applied arts and traditional crafts.
One of the leading themes at the exhibition was Ahalteke horses. Legendary ‘heavenly horses’ - the pride and glory of the Turkmen people are the symbol of the V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, which our white-marble capital - Ashgabat will host next year. Printing publications, including the beautifully illustrated books by the Turkmen leader, booklets, various sports equipment and textiles, souvenirs, models of the Olympic Village showcased at the exhibition told about the tremendous work being done in the country to prepare for this grandiose sports festival.
Thus, the exhibition provided the platform to showcase the economic achievements of Turkmenistan and promote the products manufactured domestically as well as to demonstrate the enormous potential of the country as a sports power and the work on popularization of the high culture and the rich history of the people.
Relevant diplomas and certificates were awarded to the forum participants during the exhibition closing ceremony.
